They Eat Pasta Too

A long standing tradition of WB was to spoof other studios’ animation feature films and TV programs. Ruth’s late father, Bob Clampett, was famed for this.

This artwork was inspired by the famous Lady & the Tramp scene of them both eating spaghetti before they unintentionally kiss. Staying true to Pepe’s Parisian roots, “They Eat Pasta Too” is set in a street in Paris with the Eiffel Tower in the background.

This new addition is a hand painted cel laid on top of a Giclee background and is produced in an edition of only 100 pieces.
